2. Lumia Inspirations: Journeys of Holistic Healing… As an aside.. and it's all on this side, right now. As per Wikipedia: I was looking up WISDOM and came up with this fact for you. The word WISDOM is mentioned 222 times in the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Bible and since I believe that the bible is a collection of stories by different authors at different times through out it's history and there is WISDOM located there which has been grandly misunderstood due to the symbolism involved. Hmmmm interesting.. I just found this today... while writing..so, I am accessing my inner comedic WISDOM to write for you as I keep seeing 222 everywhere. In July: Laugh... It will help you to heal011 July 2011Laughter is Our Best Medicine So, Laugh your way into being free... This your Reminder: Laugh as much as is possible. Listen to the pure sounds, this is Healing for your body, mind and soul. Often when we are not feeling well physically, mentally, or emotionally we forget to laugh and it becomes harder to find things to laugh about. But, if we go back to the things we used to find funny as kids or begin to find new avenues for our laughing enlightenment we can enable our soul to re adjust our funny meter and feel better and better, maybe even begin to heal our body mind and soul. Finding the funny can be a fantastical and fun search we can go about reading and looking for books, magazines, papers, audio recordings, documentaries, videos, cartoons, jokes, movies, comedians, TV shows and we can ask our friends to help us on our search. Everyone's idea of funny is different so you never know what is going to show up for your laughing pleasure. What tickles one persons funny bone does not always entice another's, but alas... that is ok. The world is full of varied view points and the universe would be a dull and boring place if everyone thought exactly alike. However, it is a joy to have someone close to you that shares a similar joke meter. Laughter is the the best medicine and a picture is worth a thousand words.. two truths for all of us to live by. The currant joke is a fabulous and fruity tale or if you like watery wisdom instead then allow the words to follow the giggle current that is twisting and turning to finally connect with your funny bone in the ecstasy of where the river meets the see. Really..huh.. oh ya.. I mean.. Estuary, it is the Sea and I told you sow...the seeds of wit and wisdom splash too and fro . Ya I know it just came to me. The parents were so embarrassed that they pretended nothing was happening and kept the conversation going. The guests cooperated and also continued as if nothing extraordinary was happening. It's been flickering for weeks now." He looks at her and says angrily, "Fix the light? Now? Does it look like I have a G.E. logo printed on my forehead? I don't think so." "Well then, could you fix the fridge door? It won't close right." To which he replied, "Fix the fridge door? Does it look like I have Westinghouse written on my forehead? I don't think so." "Fine," she says, "Then could you at least fix the steps to the front door? They're about to break." "I'm not a damn carpenter and I don't want to fix the steps," he says. "Does it look like I have Ace Hardware written on my forehead? I don't think so. I've had enough of you. I'm going to the bar!" So he goes to the bar and drinks for a couple hours. He starts to feel guilty about how he treated his wife, and decides to go home and help out. As he walks into the house, he notices the steps are already fixed. As he enters the house, he sees the hall light is working. As he goes to get a beer, he notices the fridge door is fixed. "Honey, how'd this all get fixed?" She said, "Well, when you left, I sat outside and cried. Just then a nice young man asked me what was wrong, and I told him. He offered to do all the repairs, and all I had to do was either screw him or bake him a cake." He said, "So, what kind of cake did you bake him?" She replied, "Hellooooo...
