Switching to a wholefoods way of eating can make you feel happier. It can beat depression. It can also help you to have a more stable mood.
Whole food nutrition can also help you with your weight. And, it will give you worlds more energy. Unlike diets, healing with whole food is a lifestyle way of eating that makes positive changes more permanent.
What Is Healing Whole Food Exactly?
It is nutritional food that hasn’t been overly processed.
Foods that haven’t been processed are foods like: fruits and veggies; whole grains like 100% whole wheat or oats; pure dairy products; and meat from the butcher.
Side Bar: (Overly processed foods tend to have a lot of chemicals in them. They are poor nutrient-providers. Generally, foods that have a long shelf life are highly processed. The chemicals in them may keep them tasty, but these are “dead foods.” Dead because they are nutrient-dead. They offer nothing for the vitality of your body.) For example, oats are a whole food and Captain Crunch and most other boxed cereals are not!
Oranges are a whole food and orange drink crystals or “fruit drink” is not.
Chicken bought from the meat department is a whole food and chicken lunch loaf is not.
How Do You Heal With Whole Food?
Give your divine system what it needs!
Eat foods that are minimally processed.
Foods that are natural, whole, raw.
Foods that are fresh.

Five Healing With Whole Food, Health-Transforming Tips:
1) Plan Ahead… Make sure you plan your meals ahead of time, before you shop. Note any fresh stuff that you need. (Plan to buy organic whole foods if you can afford to.)
2) Focus On The Outside… The outside circle of the grocery store that is! Your whole food healing transformation will happen more quickly if you concentrate on the outside sections of the grocery store. That is: the produce section, the dairy section, and the meat section.
3) Read Labels… If you want to heal with whole food, make sure to read food labels. Reading the label will tell you how much processing has gone on down the line.
The first three ingredients on a food label are the most important. That’s because the manufacturer has to list the ingredient that the product has the most of first. (The second ingredient, then, is next in line for how much of it is in the product.)
Side Bar: There are some nasty ingredients out there! Run away from anything that lists corn syrup, hydrogenated or trans fats, or sugar in the top three. (Trans fats and hydrogenated oils, for example, are known to be cancer-causing.) And if you can’t pronounce the ingredients, or the list is too long?? Hurl the product across the store! (Well, make sure you don’t hit anyone in frozen foods!)
Those types of products are better left outside of your body!
4) FRESH IS BEST! For optimum healing with whole food, ensure that you eat your produce soon after you buy it. Fresh produce always has more goodness for your body. It is better to buy produce a bit more often (say twice a week) than to eat a shriveled old broccoli head and carrots that are long dead!
5) Keep Tabs… I recently embraced the challenge to up my fruit and veggie intake. I jot down what fresh stuff I’ve eaten and keep a daily running tab. This “health wealth” list helps me to meet the daily quota of 7-9 servings of produce a day. Experts say that nine servings are divine!
If you switch to a whole foods diet, you will see a miraculous transformation – mentally and physically. Your body even has the ability to reverse your biological age if you regularly nurture it with natural healing foods.
